Madhuri Dixit did all the stunts in the movie herself

Leading Bollywood stars' Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla's first film together. Juhi turned down a chance to work with Madhuri in Dil To Pagal Hai (1997)

One of the action sequence in the movie required Madhuri Dixit to jump high in the air and land on a truck. Director Soumik Sen thought the scene would need many retakes. However, Madhuri completed the scene in just 2-3 takes and the crew succeeded in finishing shooting the sequence before sunset much before the anticipated deadline.

In order to break the ice between Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, director Soumik Sen made them sit in a room for 10 minutes and asked them to talk about whatever they want with each other. This technique really helped them both to get comfortable talking to each other on the sets as they never shared beyond a "hello" to each other before that.

Rani Mukerji was the first choice for Madhuri Dixit's role.
