Co-writer Anne-Sarah Kertudo drew inspiration from her own life for the film, having herself been born with a disorder that led to her becoming blind in 2014 while a mother to two children. Lead actress Camille Goudeau meanwhile, while not blind, is herself visually impaired.

a mother

A young 30 years old woman is affected , in radical manner, by glaucom. She risks lost her job, her children, to reduce her life at new learning of basic things, to not have a real future.

Her kids, her mother, her friends, the institut suggested by her medic are more than helpfull in this battle . But a significant obstacle, near the skeptikism to be a real support for children of the principal of school where her young daughter is student , isthe pressure on his ex husband of his parents.

Sure, delicate theme , worked, scene by scene with obvious care for details. But, maybe, exactly this effort is the cause of not enough empaty inspiring the audience. I hope , this is only my wrong impression, the matter thing remaining the beautiful performance of Camille Goudeau.
