After years of attempting to get this released, the wait is finally over.
Was it worth the wait?
I think so.
What the director Garry Moore and crew and cast have accomplished here, is nothing short of an indie film that holds your interest throughout. It's dark, gritty and suspenseful and is actually a great movie basically made from a very low budget.
The film is carried by an excellent performance from Rachel Meredith and she gives a solid interpretation of an autistic person who is way, way out of her comfort zone. You find yourself rooting for her although she does terrible things.
I myself appear in this and I am definitely not being biased as I feel this film needs more exposure. It's a good watch for what it is ... A low budget British independent movie that grips you from the start.
Don't expect Citizen Kane, just enjoy it with the knowledge that you're watching something made from the very heart of the North East and that it is a very watchable piece of work.
I'm proud to say I have a role in this and my high rating of it has nothing to do with that, even if I wasn't in it I would still rate it 10/10 .
