When script writer Teemu Kaskinen asked the lead actors about their ideas for the storyline and the characters the actors wanted to play, Tommi Korpela answered that he wanted to play a singer, Minna Haapkylä wanted to be a psychopath, Hannu-Pekka Björkman wanted his character to be a odd guy and Elina Knihtilä wished to play Kekkonen. Only the last wish did not realize in the actual film.
