The show focuses on 2 plastic surgeons who deal with different procedures. Dr Dubrow deals with everything from the chest down and Dr Nassif deals with everything from the neck up.
There are some great stories with some incredible outcomes. Your heart goes out to some of the patients who went to countries such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, or South America and had their surgeries really botched. The outcomes at the end of the show are incredible. The results are not 100% perfect and this is usually due to large amounts of scar tissue, but the transformations are incredible.
The show would receive 10 stars if it weren't for the absurd people that you see them add into each episode. There is always one person each episode that goes to the extreme with plastic surgery and want more. This is always for shock value, but it's just a turn off and pretty disgusting that makes you want to change the channel.

The show is fairly shallow and picks people who are good for light entertainment. So they have two surgeries and one rejection per show. The rejects tend to be people who've had a lot of work already and seeking to tweak it - some of them don't really seem all that serious and were picked by the producers to all a little more color.
Since the show doesn't want to show actual details of the procedures to avoid grossing out their audience, it become the same routine of safe shots which are repetitive.
The "playful" interplay between the two surgeons is painful to watch - feels very staged and scripted.
Once you've seen a couple of the episodes, they start to become the same old. If they were more daring, they'd take the leap and get into the intricacies of procedures which would be very interesting to see what I assume are artists at work.

It's a good show it helps people but once you have seen one episode you have seen em all. Always about the same thing nose, breasts and ass
And I don't understand how on earth they can even bring in those freaks who wants to be an alien or cartoon etc. Twerking and making sex jokes that feels a little bit too weird for me, They really need to change the show a litt bit if they want to sell it, I wish there were more people with serious problem rather than bigger boobs I hope they find better candidates for next season

I've been watching Botched for years-lately, brash Terry has become more insulting to sweet Paul-a total turnoff to me. Thanks to widespread use of smart phones, female patients can film and broadcast their nude chests even before they reach the Beverly Hills medical building examining room. Modesty, a forgotten virtue. I agree 100% with the Hattian mother who urged her daughter to be glad for her nose instead of trying to reshape it; Dr. Paul reshaped the unhappy daughter's nose so well she got a new Do and flaunted her celebrity profile. The film industry has done too much to make viewers unhappy about what God has provided and, for better or worse, the medical profession has been accommodating patients with reasonable and unreasonable requests. ~~ In cases of birth defects, serious illnesses, disfiguring accidents, etc., I can understand the need for surgery but pumping up one's boobs for show is for boobs! Many patients don't care about surgical risks nor do they realize that a boob job (assuming correctly done) is only good for 12 years. Doesn't all that silicone interfere with love making? And patients with lip fillers can't feel being kissed, can't drink without dribbling liquid all over themselves. Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done. Thankfully, the two Botched doctors refuse to assist certain would-be patients and advise them to stop already.

I just love this show. It doesn't feel fake like so much reality TV does. The doctors are truly caring individuals, you can't fake that, they aren't actors. Dr. Nassif has more than once gotten all misty eyed. They love what they do and they love helping people and they take great pride in their work.
Sure the format is a little repetitive, but that's just the way the show is put together. It's too bad they can't show anything on-screen but it doesn't bother me. It's the stories that are interesting, the before and after, and the ways people's lives are transformed. Sure some of the people are a bit shallow, but hey, this is a show about plastic surgery, it's to be expected. Some of them really deserve the help they receive.
I also like how the doctors are very responsible. They turn away people who they think are not good candidates. "First do no harm". So many doctors seem to have forgotten their oath. More than a few plastic-surgery addicted people have tried to apply. If they were botched, they got help. If they just wanted to indulge their addiction, they got turned away with a warning. Few of them took the warning seriously and most vowed to get their chosen surgery anyway, but a few listened.

I started watching this show out of curiosity because I think I need my nose fixed for breathing issues and it would be nice to have it aesthetically touched up as well. I've never had anything done to my face. I have to say that some of the women on the show are absolutely shameless and they are shocking in their behavior. I think one day they're going to look back at themselves and think "Oh my, what a sl** I was". For instance, one lady had mentioned in season six how hot Dr. Nassif was, something about marrying him as well as the possibility of something with Doctor DuBrow, KNOWING these men are married. These women are shameless. These men are now married, and they're not there for dating so that's something that's kind of a turn off to see them put on women like this. That being said, I will tell you why I love this doctor so much, I love the humor, and I love the way that Dr. Nassif is very graceful with the way that he accepts DuBrows poking at him. He is a very classy man. I could see that Dr. Nassif truly cares about his patients, and is very very excited when he pleases them. This is why I can see that he truly has a great heart and a great spirit. I have to say that I am glad that he finally got married because it was very unattractive for him to be 'Wh**in' around with so many women and making comments that aimed at FLAUNTING that character flaw. Anyway, all of that being said, there is so much more to these two men, then fixing faces and breasts. I can see that they actually have hearts. I wish all doctors could be this way. There is one more thing that maybe it's because I'm just Christian and it bothers me more but on season six there's actually a woman patient who claims to have mafia family and she brags about it these type of poor ethics being shown on the show kind of degrades it a lot a whole lot. This woman really thinks that it's OK to flaunt that she has a criminal family. This is something that I don't think should be put on the show. This is what brings down the ethics of the doctors. Yes, they have to treat all patients that pay their coin, but they don't have to allow a patient to FLAUNT a terrible thing like a family that is CRIMINAL. NOT 'COOL' or 'EXCITING' ... it just has me question the true character of everyone involved in creating the show, as this show REPRESENTS the doctors.

It would have been nice if the stories focussed more on people who needed help from botched surgeries post medical or trauma.
Unfortunately it's more focussed on narcissistic half wits who just want more plastic surgery to look completely outrageous. Basketball breasts and lip fillers take up the majority of the cases on this show. Boring.

Used to be a great show, with lots of information. It always seemed smarter than E's standard reality show crap pile.
But 2021, the execubots must have finally got their claws into it, because it's just as stupid as everything else on E. It's all 'stakes, stakes stakes' nonstop. They also intercut the surgeries now which is completely moronic. It's two rooms with people in gowns and masks, so it's impossible to know what's going on.
The new editing style is dated garbage as well.
Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

It's pretty shocking what can happen from one bad choice even with reputable surgeons.
Watched all of season one in one day, a bad choice for my productivity.
My biggest take away is ladies please tweeze your nipple hair. It's shockingly large in the big screen

I watch Botched all the time. I really like this show but I don't like how Dr. Debrow curses when in operating room. The other day he said the JC word and I don't think that's appropriate. It is not bleeped out. I feel he shouldn't talk like that even if it gets bleeped. There is no need for that kind of language. And he thinks he is so much better than Dr. Nassif. I am assuming Dr. Nassif doesn't mind the way he belittles him, but I think it is terrible. Other than that I love the show and think these doctors are brilliant. If I lived there I would want a nose job from Dr. Nassif....................................................... ............................................................ ...............................................

I absolutely LURVE this show! Not only is it 'interesting' to see how people like to change there 'Look'by Cosmetic Surgery. Which unfortunately has gone wrong, or was just totally Botched up by the Surgeon! Which in itself is VERY frightening, as you put your life, (your appearance), in their hands! And PAY for it too both financially and emotionally, besides your initial, whole body/face outlook! These Guys, (Surgeons) on 'Botched' are like Guardian Angels to these people! Their prayers have been answered, and their 'Looks' are re-vamped, re- vitalised, back to an appearance that is 'Brilliant' and 'Beautiful' to the naked eye! And they do it for free, I mean just how sincere is that! These guys deserve a medal! I PRAY everyday that I get to meet these guys and put my face/Body, in their hands! I was born 'Botched', an un- genetic Throwback. An un-lucky tadpole that shouldn't of got through..I can't afford surgery, if I could I would of been having surgery when I was 18! I'm 42yrs old now, and have lived,(living)a life of HELL. I've been beaten and divorced and my looks have suffered due to these horrific beatings. Including a broken jaw, loss of most teeth and face scars. The List goes on..I live a lonely, isolated life. I hide and lock myself away from friends and the public, as I'm constantly depressed, and refuse myself the right to be loved. As I hate how old I look, and the way I look, for my 42yrs of age,I look about 58 to 60yrs old! And that's NO joke. These guys are the ONLY answer to MY prayers, as nobody I know or who I've come across does the surgery for NO fee! BUT most of all and the best feeling ever about these guys doing the surgery would be the fact that they do it with a caring, TRULY compassionate, personal feeling of, WANTING you as a patient to be made and repaired to your inner beauty to shine through on completion of surgery. The guys REALLY want you to look good and feel absolutely beautiful!! Paul M, would be the BESTEST surgeon ever to re-construct my facial flaws and his accomplice on my breasts as they both have different areas of excellence in cosmetic surgery! There like 'Gods' to me, and I guess ALL there past clients would certainly, agree!! Jusrt WATCH the SHOW guys and see for yourself the work they do on these clients, the general public, Botched up surgery, is totally amazing. Rejuvenation in there hands.....

My wife was a hard working Cardiac ICU nurse. She had bariatric surgery, that went bad and had to be redone. She nearly died on feeding tubes for over a year. Excessive weight loss has left her feeling unattractive. And not feminine. Sagging abdomen, loss of breast tissue, and her thighs have issues also. She feels unattractive and it severely affects her mental state. Reclusive, depression. She avoids life. Friends, church and family functions. We have good insurance, but I believe they would consider it elective surgery, unless a doctor could justify it based on her mental state.
I love my wife, but I want her to feel good about herself again.
I would love it if the doctors could help.

Except for a few decidedly needy surgeries , this is a tribute to shallow vain freaks.
Any MD who would treat some of these people( woman with large breasts)
should have their license pulled by the AMA
Definitely not a show I would typically turn on, after a weekend with some relatives I've now watched more Botched that I ever planned to in my existence and certainly enough to give it an honest review. The series follows two of California's best plastic surgeons work together to view and often attempt to correct past procedures gone horribly wrong. The guests on this shows are often shocking in both physique and personality, and while most of those coming on the show are pure aesthetic seekers there's typically at least one real sob story per episode to pull the heart strings. Whether its corrective surgery from an accident gone wrong or someone's lips who just got too much filler, we follow them through the (often quite gross) medical procedures until (hopefully) they look physically a bit better and (hopefully) feel more comfortable in (mostly) their own skin. The show definitely feels a bit exploitative, but at the same time most of the guests are well aware of what they're getting into, so I can't really fault it for that, but wow, humans are crazy. Nassif > Dubrow for sure, although both seem a little bit nuts, in the end this show is absolutely terrible pure entertainment. Would probably watch more.

We watched a "cancer survivor" get her breast fixed. I am sorry I I heard was Breast were and are soooooooo important to her that she could not wait to get a boob job at 5. Really was anyone touched by her story....what story she feels boobs make her and she wants her sexy back. Well I do have cancer. I can not have an implant due to my cancer I went through 16 rounds of chemo and 37 rounds of radiation. I want to stay alive! Not have a new booby. This was a sad example of a breast cancer fighter and survivor. All I heard she had a mastectomy.......any other treatment. By the way if you have that many cyst in your boob, you really should not be getting an implant..
