The plot here is usually very interesting to me. A disenfranchised youth looking for ways to entertain themselves and find outlets for their frustration is appealing, as it leads to dark and sombre tones. But in this movie it leads to nothing except strained dialogue that rings really immature and outright dumb. The cast is neither exceptional or awful. They're just going through the motions and reciting their lines. Nothing more. I'm actually someone decided to move forward with a movie based on such an uninspiring and bland script. Even though there's not much plot here, there's still plot holes, which is a testament to the lazy and incompetent directing. An hour into this and I was still waiting for something out of the ordinary or at least remotely interesting to occur. This movie lets the viewer down on every conceibable level. No humor. No tension. No cinematography of note. Bad soundtrack. Laughable dialogue. The most interesting part of this movie is the pans of the shelves of grocery store items. That should tell you something. It always annoys me when police are portrayed as bumbling mindless fools. There's just too many things in this movie that would never, ever happen yet the makers expect the viewer to swallow these inconsistencies without question. Beyond ridiculous waste of effort and time. One of the worst endings you will ever see.
