Would it be too much to ask for a time machine? I would like to go back to the turn of the 80s and 90s when we didn't know anything about all sorts of TV reality shows yet, except for occasional cooking programs. I remember a time when we only had three TV channels at home, but they showed quality programs; there were real children's cartoons, good movies that changed and reappeared maybe only after five years, quality series like Columbo, MASH, NYPD Blue, real good shows. Unlike now, the children's cartoons are terrible computer-generated crap, like a talking icicle living in the jungle, for example. There are movies, but they are also complete garbage, and don't worry if you miss a movie, it will be rerun either the same night or the next day, or the day after that. The same movie airs at least 6 times a week during the month on some channel. And then those shows, everything can be found on streaming services nowadays (which I'm grateful for, I don't watch TV broadcasts for the aforementioned reasons). But what fills the screen nowadays is these reality shows. I can't understand what kind of madness makes people watch these! Wedding shows! Cooking shows! Single youths! Single mothers! Rich mothers!!!! And to top it off - a reality show where people watch these shows!!!! They comment on these shows!!!! Here it is - SOHVAPERUNAT!!!! Yes! People sit on their couches, the camera films, the TVs on, and people watch shows! And outside the television, people then watch these television viewers... I really don't understand this world... And there are even multiple seasons of this, and there seems to be no end in sight... Oh my God... Well, watch it. Although I really hope no one watches it so that its production would stop.
