The lead in this movie gives a superb performance that will bring you to tears. This is a great ensemble cast that deliver an emotional depiction of life on the streets of LA and the plight of the mentally ill in particular. I wanted to see more and know more about the lead character and how he ended up in this situation ... this should be a feature film!

This movie took a hold of me from the very beginning, it had me asking questions of the main character ABE and in the end asking questions of myself and my own life. It opens a pathway into the sad but true effects mental health and struggles we face in our lifetime can have upon us; the lead Stephen Uppal has gone to great lengths to deliver the message and does it impeccably.

This is one of the most thought provoking emotional roller coasters in movie terms I have ever been on; the cast, crew and production team hit the nail right on the head. I would and have recommended and shared this movie with my friends and wider social circle.

I mean where to start, such an important story that is relatable in any City/Country. To grip someone and hold them within 15 minutes can be an impossible task but this short exceeds that. Not only is the acting on point but the score keeps you so drawn in you never want it to end - but on a deeper level it really makes you think about the people you walk past on the street that are in similar situations and wonder about their life, their story. We need more empathy in the world and this a great example of encouraging it.

I had the honour of attending a private screening of this film at WB studios and I simply found it beautiful. The cast were great and the story was so touching. Stephen Uppal played his character amazingly well. If you ever get the chance to catch this film, do so. You won't regret it. I wish it all the best for the future.

So nice to see powerful short films leave a lasting impact, and that is exactly what this film does. Directing, Acting, and Cinematograph is all on point and winds its way like an emotional roller-coaster ride through one man's journey to find lasting peace and resolve. I would hope to see much more from these filmmakers in the future.

This film is better than most box office productions? Did IMDb get the cost wrong? Regardless, a great short (have tissues on the ready), so worth watching, this should be a feature film... how much weight did this guy lose for this role?... unrecognizable from his head-shots to the character he plays... or is this just great camera trickery ??? Trust me, well worth your time!

Went to a Warner Bros private screening of this short film and my word was I taken on an emotional journey in just 15 minutes! Abe was beautifully shot, the film score was incredible and the actors story telling was a definite 10/10. if you want to see what quality you can produce on such a small budget then I can't recommend watching this film enough, you will not be left disappointed. Hats off to the team that wrote and produced this.

This short will tug on your heart strings, a lovely film about one man's journey. Stephen Uppal deliver a fantastic performance with a great cast behind him. Stephen commits to transformed his body in this film, which gives the story another level of intensity. I highly recommend this film.

I was invited as a +1 to see this at private screening in a west end cinema, and I was warned short films normally suck, by my partner said they'll be cheap drinks so i went along! I have to be honest it was very good, especially the actors. The film was a little dour in tone, but the lead was very convincing a guy struggling with loss, and grief. You felt it. Overall glad i went!

Apart from the film title I didn't really know what to expect from this short film before watching it. I basically sat down as I would for any other film without expecting too much, however it didn't take long for me to get pulled into Abe's story. Supported by an amazing cast, Stephen Uppal does an excellent job in portraying Abe's emotions and it took no time for me to feel emotionally invested in this film. This is a story that will make you feel like you've walked a journey with Abe and it will pull on the heartstrings.

Overall, this is a thoroughly enjoyable film with a very touching story and an excellent cast! 10/10

I had the pleasure of seeing this at an early screening in London. In an emotionally engaging and tender depiction of one man's existence, Abe challenges modern ideals of what society values and has a lasting effect. It's beautifully shot and the cast are sublime. It feels personal yet universally affecting. Worth catching on the film festival circuit.

Poignant and compelling throughout, Abe delivers a real punch. Aesthetically, unlike so many shorts, it's excellent and wouldn't look out of place on any big screen. A very strong cast is lead by Stephen Uppal, who physically transformed himself for this role, akin to Christian Bale in The Machinist. Full disclosure, I've known Stephen for a long time but despite this, I was able to watch Abe like I'd never met him. Well worth 15 minutes if you can get your hands on a copy!

A truly moving depiction of the reality that people face on the streets of LA on a daily basis. The British born lead Stephen Uppal plays the role of a mentally ill man struggling to come to terms with the cruel hand life has dealt him. Bravo to everyone involved with the making of this movie.

'Abe' is a very beautiful, thought provoking film. The performances from the cast are all exceptional. The film is visually stunning and beautifully shot. It is very well written and there is an instant empathy for the lead character. Stephen Uppal shows remarkable dedication to the role.
