As Jonah attempts to smuggle the greatest evil out of Argentina to meet justice, we travel back in time to war-torn Germany to the home of a peculiar old couple whose story has reverberations for Jonah's success or failure.

But lo! The date foretold by evil prophecy came upon them. The Hunters were tormented by wicked ghosts of times past as the day waned and Darkness prepared to strike. Millie forsaketh the means of justice to hasten the path toward judgment.

In the summer of 1977, Jonah Heidelbaum's grandmother (a holocaust survivor) is murdered in her own living room. In an attempt to find her killer, Jonah is approached by Meyer Offerman, an old friend of his grandmother's, who reveals to Jonah that America has been infiltrated at all levels by renegade Nazis and it was they who were responsible for her death. Once the truth is revealed to him (as well as some surprising facts about his grandmother's life), Jonah is recruited into a secret organization determined to root out the Nazi infiltrators wherever they are.

As a terrible plague loomed over the land and did portend to devour its people, The Hunters waged a great battle to prevent it. Upon the threshold of righteousness, Millie endured a loathsome betrayal and sought to deliver Jonah from vengeance and corruption.

For the love of money is the root of all evil. A trail of signs did lead The Hunters unto a merchant's lair, where unearthed remnants of the past echoed evils of the present. Millie's compass delivered her to the House of Offerman, whereupon she encountered Jonah and put a charge unto him: "I beseech thee walk in truth!"

And there was a thick darkness in all the land. As The Hunters wallowed in the valley of the shadow of death, they turned to the stars to point them on their path. Still, darkness trespassed upon the heart of Jonah, which did tempt him toward sin; and the shepherd Meyer petitioned Millie to join their flock.

Meyer imparted unto Jonah a proverb, with which Jonah fortified himself. A sharp tongued serpent sought to poison The Hunters' resolve. Evil hath taken root in the land of Alabama, whereupon The Hunters did descend to blot it out. A herald brought unto Millie grim tidings of Evil spread throughout the land.

Hark! A wedding song rang out to unite The Hunters in a time of discord. "The Hunt is not only about death," Meyer cried unto Jonah, "It is about life!" But their mirth was tempered by an untimely strike and suspicions of a Judas among them. Seeking the origins of Evil, Millie offered up a sacrifice.

In an Argentinian valley, the Hunters confront Hitler's compound, igniting a battle of good versus evil. Meyer and Chava's hidden past emerges, escalating Ruth's suspicions about Meyer's true identity.

Hunters grow closer discovering Hitler's location, Jonah's secret life is threatened when his fiancee Clara shows up in Argentina. Travis and Joe pursue The Hunters in a plot to kill them once and for all.
