The concept and story kept me watching till the end. but the bad acting and weak dad jokes made it difficult.

Intriguing idea to use time travel as a backdrop to promote a particular ideology.
While most religions or wings of religious reject science, seeing a film about christianity embracing science and science fiction should be entertaining.
Ultimately, I felt insulted. The actors represented genius or savant level juveniles, (not likely), the script was pure propaganda. the production was student level, the special effects laughable.
Some years ago I watched Man from Earth. Filmed on the smallest of budgets and almost entirely in one room, I was enthralled almost from beginning to end and even thought this jesus might actually have existed, It challenged my thinking, the world of christ and left me feeling as if I'd seen something very important. A masterclass in how to make a masterpiece with very little.
This film didn't encourage me to embrace the narrative by any stretch of the imagination, rather I'll now be FAR more selective in what christian movies I watch on the grounds I don't appreciate being treated like a mindless idiot.

I think it's the cheapest movie ever. Don't waste you're time. I wanted to rated 0 star but it's not possible

I'm 62, and still struggling to remember whether I've ever seen a WORSE film in my life.
Reading most of the reviews here I wonder - are all of you guys from the Rust Belt?;-)
(no offence)
I don't rate movies, but I had to say something about this one. I was bored and watched this. Absolutely hands down, worst movie ever.

I am not asking why this movie was made or what was the idea behind this but is this a sort of experimentation? You can't put this creation through any shaped holes on the box called movie. Now I tried to watch it as a dark humor, and now i regret wasting my time. Maybe reading all the reviews would have saved me the time and gave opportunity to cherish better creations.

I generally dislike most Christian movies, as they are poorly made and written on a very trite level. Even though I am a minister, I prefer horror films and 1940s mysteries.
That being said, I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by this film. It has a plot line as intricate as Happy Death Day 2U and reasonably good attempts at humor. Yes, some of the acting is a little hokey and the ultimate resolution is never in doubt, but, getting to the conclusion in this movie is an enjoyable journey.
In regards to the accusations of racism and bigotry, I don't see it at all. I believe those come from people who didn't watch the movie.
In conclusion, if this is the future of Xian cinema, then I say bring it on!

REVIEW - ASSASSIN 33 A.D.
What to say about this unknown film?
Yes totally unknown and I can tell you why.
Imagine the most silliest story ever seen and add to that one of the most original stories I've ever seen, yes a complete contradiction.
Even the title is confusing!
A team of young scientists invent a time machine which is to be used by a terrorist to........
In essence a very original time travel film which I actually enjoyed, science versus religion taken to the limits.
Original / silly with acting to be ignored, special effects are just terrible but still one very original and enjoyable film, as I've said a complete contradiction so meaning I actually find it very difficult giving this a rating.
Rating 6 out of 10

You would think devoted christians live by the 10 amendments - well, look at the countless one day old fake accounts writing laughingly generic worded 10-star reviews for this crap. Spreading the word of god with lies and betrayal, how unmasking.

Very confusing movie with a complicated screen play and bad acting. The trailer was good that's why I watched the whole movie thinking it's going to get better. Don't waste time on this movie.
What were these people even thinking while making this movie? i need that time machine now to go back in time and unsee this :/

I don't think it was meant to be a comedy, but I couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was.

I want to make a joke about taking a shot every time it makes you cringe (maybe a different drink depending on whether it's the acting, plot, writing or special effects that do it) but you'd just die.

Goofy, school-boyish sci-fi gizmo colliding with serious Faith subject - not good. About 20 minutes too long, and plot too complex. Whoever allowed this out should've been fired. However, there's a lot to commend, with the young actors eminently enthused by movies, from Star-trek to Woody Allen, to Miracle on 34th Street. Hope the backers of any sequel or prequel, insist on a better storyline, but with unaltered goofiness - humor very much this one's salvation.

Not quite the worst, but very close. Aside from the bad acting, bad dialogue, and science/logic fails too numerous to mention, it was overall just BORING. I am no fan of faith-based shows, but even this is the bottom of the barrel.
I've been laughng to death all the time despite all the intentions of the script.
Contempt and despising laughing off is the only way to watch this 108 min long waste of money and work that actually would be more accurate to name as an insulting claim of an historical-religious-sify comedy.
WHAT A WASTE OF TIME TRAVEL !!!!

This chick that talks like an idiot where everything sounds like she being sarcastic and asking a question all the time no matter what she says. They should have killed her for real. I couldn't watch even half of this garbage. God doesn't exist and if it does it's beyond the scope of meaningless human lives. It's like we're the characters in a video game and we pray to a developer who doesn't care, doesn't know we pray, and certainly doesn't answer. The sooner religion is banned from the world the better off humanity will be.
