This is a very typical Dutch movie. The pace of this movie was strange. It seemed that they wanted integrate romance, adventure, action in 90 min. You do not know where it is going. So many things are going on in this movie that you realize it is a chaos. None of the characters are well developed. If it is rainy outside and you are bored and there is nothing on TV then you can watch it.
This is just another Dutch movie with a bad attempt to bring some comedy in. And no matter what happens, you know it all ends well in the end. Now, usually those movies are just okay to watch on a Saturday or Sunday morning, but what annoyed me was the mediocre acting (as said before, the fighting scene was terrible) and mostly the audio and video. The audio sounds like it was dubbed or recorded later. It's very raw and always at the same level. Louder than anything else in the shot. The video looks like it was recorded with a GoPro. In a lot of shots the image is distorted / fisheyed; When people walk from the center to the edge and back, they are misforming. The best example is the bathroom scene in Cuba. I can't imagine that noone saw this while shooting or editing the film.
If you want to know why dutch movies doesnt grow up then watch this film. There is no story and what is the reason of film? Very stupid film. Actress and actor very bad acting. Script writer should be very happy that she found some one sale this movie. If you want to vaste of your time then you can watch this film or verliefd op Ibiza.

I enjoyed this movie.
As it happens, I was at the box office getting tickets for Alita: Battle Angel, when this movie premiered. Something about the poster got me interested, and I must say, it's an enjoyable Dutch (spoken) comedy, with all very Dutch humor.
Having been to Cuba myself, I was pleasantly reminded of my time there, and the combination of cast, assorted weird situations which unfold, and a very nice soundtrack, nicely completed this ninety minute experience.
On a side note: this is considered "low budget". As the movie was made for one million Euros (or almost one and a half million US Dollars); yet the cool thing is, you never notice it. It's got comedy, drama, more comedy, love, comedy, action, and a helping of typical Dutch craziness... So, being the social butterfly that I am, I ended up seeing it twice. Should you go see it? Is it really funny? Did it move me emotionally? Yes!!!
