Look out, Hollywood, Steven Spielberg’s daughter, Destry Allyn Spielberg, is making her feature directorial debut with one of the biggest badasses in the game, Giancarlo Esposito! According to Deadline, Esposito is joining Spielberg’s upcoming thriller, Please Don’t Feed the Children. The script hails from writer Paul Bertino, with Michelle Dockery, former NFL tight end Vernon Davis, Joshuah Melnick, Emma Meisel, Dean Scott Vazquez, Zoe Colletti, Regan Aliyah, and Andrew Liner making up the ensemble cast.
Pandemic-sensitive viewers beware: the plot for Please Don’t Feed the Children revolves around a group of orphans heading south, searching for a new life after a viral outbreak decimates their country’s adult population. Unfortunately, the new home is hard-fought, as danger lurks everywhere. Jason Dubin produces through Perry Street Films with Josh Kesselman and Michael Hagerty.

Fortress: Sniper’s Eye isn’t the only new Bruce Willis film to come out recently. Corrective Measures, an odd mix of action, prison, science fiction and monster movies makes its debut as well. The reason you may not have heard of it is, that it’s another Tubi Original. Short of working for Rene Perez, that’s the most pathetic way for Willis to end his career I can think of.
Corrective Measures opens with a parking garage execution gone wrong as a band of goons led by what appears to be a werewolf are wiped out by the vigilante known as Payback just so he can have the pleasure of killing their intended victim himself before the cops arrest him. He’s sent to prison, but not just any prison,...

Bron Studios is lending a helping hand to Aapi Creatives, a networking group started by Zosimo Maximo to amplify Asian American voices working in the industry.
Maximo used Clubhouse to form a group of Aapi filmmakers who are inspired to change the narrative in Hollywood and build new opportunities for themselves. The group consists of Becky Baihui Chen, D.J. Jiang, Serena Rasoul, Diane Paragas, Jay DasGupta, Ashwini Prasad, Dinh Thai, Soma Helmi, Ruth Du and David Moriya.
Brenda Gilbert, the co-founder and president of Bron Studios, said it wasn’t until this year that she realized how much power Clubhouse had in terms of “getting people together and having open conversations with like-minded people that you wouldn’t generally have access to before.” Gilbert said she wants to make herself accessible to the members of Maximo’s networking group.
“We’re having open dialogue in terms of what can we...

Snapchat has unveiled a new slate of 10 original series and renewals for its serialized series Endless Summer, Deep Creek and The Dead Girls Detective Agency. The announcements were part of Snapchat’s Snap Partner Summit Thursday in West Hollywood.
“In 2019, mobile will surpass television in time spent for U.S. adults. This transformation is creating massive new opportunities,” said Sean Mills, Snap senior director of content, during the keynote. “But realizing this potential is not as simple as repurposing old content for new screens. Mobile storytelling has to be different because the way we use our phones is so different.”
The 10 new series include six scripted projects, New Form’s Two Sides, which focuses on a young couple navigating a breakup told from both characters’ points of view simultaneously; sci-fi series Commanders from Dakota Pictures; sneaker cult comedy Sneakerheads from Indigo and Emjag Productions; and Denton’s Death Rate from Insurrection Media.
