I wanted to give it a chance.. And I tried so hard, but there is really not a single thing to take from any of the episodes except keep out, which is a little scary. Episodes 1 and 2 are no doubt the worst followed by episode 5 which is strange and also pointless at best, and 3 is just a slideshow of some common things people tend to dislike!

I have not been a horror fan my entire life cause I'm scared of most stuff. But watching this didn't even get me to flinch (except for obvious jumpscares). It's not scary just mildly unsettling at times. The stars are for the acting and cinematography which were pretty decent.

So who in this film has naked pictures of the CEO of Netflix?

Seriously, who authorizes this crap? 3 minute "episodes" from the mind of prepubescents. Take anything you've seen before (no context, no plot, just a scene) & think of it being recreated for the Syfy channel...bad cgi, laughable dialogue, saying wtf to yourself, all that. You've got Don't Watch This.

I've seen more content, quality and dedication on YouTube.

I went into this one with zero expectations and somehow I still managed to get disappointed.

The "stories" of each episode are so poorly scrambled together I can't believe anyone thought they were a good idea... The third one was the only one that made me even slightly uncomfortable and that's just because they just threw in every single phobia imaginable without any kind of coherent plot.

This is some of the poorest, badest horror shorts ever! It is so bad, it's actually sad. You know what, i wanted to review this thing but it is not worth any more of my time. So stick to the title and skip this one.

The title is probably the most apt thing for this show. Don't Watch This. Enough said.

It's just plain and simple BAD. It's like a film project in high school or before. Acting is bad, stories are bad, directing is bad, visuals are bad.

Truth be told this isn't 10/10 tv. It's a fun time killer, though. At this point there are only 5 stories and I got a little bit out of each one. This isn't masters of horror so don't expect that. The "Keep Out" episode was by far the best one and I legit felt a bit of suspense and got shook up for a few minutes. If you need a quick horror fix, check it out by yourself sometime. All quick and to the point.

I was scrolling across Netflix like lots of us do and happend upon this show. The title interested me so I watched the trailer. It was sort of a silly "old time" themed black and white movie trailer and it explained that these were 5 short horror films. I am always interested in this genre especially if they are homemade or up and coming artists. But after watching the trailer I watched each episode one by one and on episode 3 I came here to see what others where saying about this show and there a lot of 1/10 scores and as I continued watching till the end it wasn't as bad as the scores. Most of the episodes have lack of depth but that's to be expected with a short film. And there was not overlaying plot to tie the episodes together but that is what an anthology series is. Episodes 1,4, and 5 were my favorites. This seems like a show to where each season will be a spirt of horror not too much not too little. Some of the episodes definitely made my skin crawl. Others not so much.

Only one of the five movies in the series has a story at all, and even if it is as weak as anything you could imagine. Take the title at it's face value. Don't. Watch. This.

The title of this Netflix mini-series, Don't Watch This, is at high risk of becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy if one merely looks at how sloppily the horror shorts in this collection have been assembled, without a single theme to bind them. This series is undoubtedly off to a bad start with Season 1, but could still fulfill a larger purpose of becoming a solid platform for short horror films from aspiring filmmakers around the world. Within Season 1, barring Episode 2 and 3, the others have at least a semblance of a plot and are watchable. Watchable, yes... but no one's saying they are worth-watching, because there's nothing here that you haven't seen before.

So ...my qualified guess is that they kidnapped a bunch of car mechanics, put a gun to their heads and forced them to write a horror story in 10 minutes and then direct the episodes and act in them. That's the only reasonable explanation why this show is so god damn awful.

A complete utter waste of time. Only surprise is that someone apparently made this and actually sold it to Netflix. Biggest swing and Miss I've ever come across on Netflix. Don't waste your time.

It's like the people they fired from goosebumps made a show.

This series may be the first to garner all one stars, and it deserves all of them. Never has there been a series more aptly titled. Why were these episodes made? Why would Netflix show them? The best I can say about this is the length of each story is only minutes long and you can binge them all in less than a half hour. I just don't get the purpose of these. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

People who have the money and the backing to get films made rarely have the talent necessary to create a good product.

A lot of bad gore and disjointed stories. Pathetic waste of their money and my time.

Okay so, It's not a 10 star series but it isn't that bad, for killing your time it's perfect and you will enjoy it a little, even though its kinda short. I recommend this if you're bored or you enjoy short horror movies.

After reading the reviews I was worried but I'm a pretty avid independent horror film fan and because of that I can appreciate the feel and twisted creepiness of this series.

Has no point,all episodes have nothing to do with anything at all, let alone with each other! very boring, beyond boring, stupid, and complete waste of time! Pathetic! More interesting to sit and stare at a wall then to watch any of these! 😡😤😞😞

Just avoid. You'll spend more time being irritated by all of it than watching it. Stories (if that's what we are calling them) are too short to make sense.

Clearly don't waste your time to watch that if you like good horror... with explanations because it's just bad horror with no reasons. May be some people like that kind of movie but not for me and I prefere people don't watch that... very bad.
