Britain's Lost Masterpieces (2016)
Great Show!
The show was entertaining and educational. It improved each episode. I liked the role Emma played as the social historian as it showed how society was at the time of the painting that was presented. Bendor provided great detail into the the history and science behind it.
Both Bendor and Emma are entertaining and love the British humour with the hidden jokes. I enjoyed how they provided personal opinions and it didn't feel scripted.
I liked how they chose cities as the episode's topic. The Petworth episode should start a spinoff and start a series on The National Trust and English Heritage.
It would have been great when they referenced overseas museums, they would do so by name and instead of an 'American museum'. I loved how they both explored different museums to connect the dots. To include the curators and experts was a great addition to the show. Watching Simon clean the art was interesting.
Hopefully another network picks it up as season five and overall the series was great and there are many more unknown art in Britain and the world!
Notting Hill (1999)
Great rom com
Makes you laugh, cry and fall in love. Great soundtrack, sets and actors.
Lost & Found (2017)
Funny!
Funny and easy to watch though I got lost in some spots. I'd watch it again.
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003)
Love to Hate, Hate to Love
A movie that moves equally too slow and yet too fast; too many action sequences and yet too many scenes where nothing happens. A movie that will make you cry and laugh with joy is what Weir has brought to the screen.
Crowe who plays the infamous 'Lucky Jack' in another role that bloody well suits him makes you want to hate him. He has to much pride in him that could kill his whole crew and his best friend Steve tells him that. But still he goes with what his head says not his heart until his friend gets shot.
But you got to love a guy, who plays a violin so well and can make a crew smile even in a middle of a crisis. The crew themselves work together like glue to paper. The child actors act more older than the adult actors in some instances and they prove themselves.
Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World, with a nine word title does drag and it cannot be helped when a peep of the watch is done. It is no excellent film, but it is a very good film nonetheless.
