Curious whether guided digital meditations can actually ease work stress? A recent study of over 1,400 employees at the University of California, San Francisco, led by Dr. Rachel Radin, found that using the Headspace app created significant reductions in stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Even better, these benefits lasted or improved further after a four-month follow-up. The findings also demonstrate that consistency is key: participants who meditated an average of five or more minutes per day showed significantly greater reductions in perceived stress (compared to those who meditated on average less than 5 minutes per day).
