The EE 30 Under 30 continues with 2024 honoree, Favour Eragbie—a passionate environmentalist from Nigeria dedicated to building the next generation of leaders to drive climate action: "I am the founder of Friends of Nature Network. The Friends of Nature Network (FONN) is a youth-focused, gender-inclusive organization championing biodiversity conservation and climate resilience across Africa’s rural communities. Through capacity-building programs, peer mentorship, and grant support, FONN equips emerging leaders with the tools needed to address pressing environmental challenges. These initiatives are tailored to overcome systemic barriers, fostering a generation capable of transforming global issues into impactful local solutions. Since 2021, we have driven projects that have engaged over 25,000 young people across Africa. My vision is to equip young people with the skills and opportunities needed to influence climate and environmental efforts across various economic sectors, ultimately fostering societies that live in harmony with nature and reversing the tide of nature loss and climate change."
