Spending four days on the road this week giving presentations. Crop producers are weathering a storm with low crop prices and high input costs. The current environment points to surviving, not thriving. I am thankful for the opportunity to help producers potentially lock in higher prices with the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service.

The 2024 National 4-H Poultry and Egg Conference was held the week before Thanksgiving. They recognized the top 20 individuals and Kentucky placed 8th overall.
