Insecticidal Action of D.D.T

Abstract

A STUDY of the insecticidal properties of D.D.T. (αα-bis (4-chlorphenyl)-βββ trichlorethane; I, X=Cl) and its analogues, carried out in this laboratory, has led to a working hypothesis on their mode of action which has enabled the prediction of insecticidal activity in related compounds.
