本研究成果を基に当グループでは、先述のCNTイメージセンサへの更なる高解像度化に加え、① LiDAR(Light Detection And Ranging:光測距)等に代表される反射光学系とのハイブリッド化、② 生体材料評価に特化する光音響モニタリングへの拡張検討、③ ベルトコンベア式のモノづくり現場のみでなく撮像素子によるソフトシート構造を活かしたモータ/タービン/エンジン内へのシステム組み込み検討、に取り組みます。これらの取り組みを通じて、将来的には10年以内を目途に、「操作員・動作環境・観察対象の全てにフレンドリー」なユビキタス非破壊検査システムプラットフォームとしての展開をゴールに掲げて、更なる研究を進めていきます。
