Have you tried black gesso on the gel plate? I have. Check it out! My black-and-white paper session continued with a gesso experiment. I’d seen someone using white gesso for a crackle effect. The black gesso is very plastic-y so doesn’t have quite the same effect. But I love the effect it does have with a credit card-type plastic card.
