Comilla Paddock is an artist and carpenter’s daughter from Northern Michigan. They graduated from SCAD with a BFA in Sequential Art in 2015 but has been an active member of online art communities for nearly a decade. Passionate about fan works and mashup remixes, Comilla has always focused on experimentation and layering ideas in their art.

In Quiet, the illustrator reflects on his move away from upstate New York to the American Midwest in another meditative, shape-shifting comic about how we care for ourselves and the ones we are close to. Although his style has slowly evolved, the comic still brings about the same calming nature that's common across his work.
