Brown, sepia, cream, black, dark red, dark green are the colors most often used in a neutral color palette. Using refurbished furniture is an option but you will also see leather furniture and old trunks as a side table. You might see exposed brick and maybe some industrial metals. Decorate with old maps, globes, gears, and sepia pictures.
