Salman Rushdie at the Free Library in Philadelphia

In 2008 Salman Rusdie was promoting his latest book ‘The Enchantress of Florence’. He gave a reading at the Central Library and then answered questions. His latest book is ‘Two Years Eight Months and Twenty Eight Nights’ which is available at the library. The Free Library hosts lots of readings by authors from around the world. Some are free and some you will need to purchase a ticket. In February there will be Michael Eric Dyson, Karen Finley, Jane Mayer ,Claudine Saran and others.
