I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents
So what’s the fuss about loss?
Waiting!
Debating!
Contemplating!
What is loss?
Something you care about
Taken away from you by force
Creating total unforgivable chaos
Thinking!
Blinking!
Seeking!
What is loss
It is a minus instead of a plus
Hence the unmistakable fuss
Death and sickness build up great grief
Loss brings despair instead of relief
And in loss itself I have no belief
I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents
Loss! An inequitable cause
Thrown on you without a toss
So you become very cross
Because in your life you realize, you are never the only boss!

Sometimes you must accept the loss as something useful if you want to stay sane and safe.Because when you hold on to a thing that gives you a sort of 'turbulent joy' and yet you know that in the long term it will bring you pain and ruin your physical and psychical health...loss should be accepted, undertaken, no matter how hard it is.Loss may be good though it may make one feel sad...It's a hard life.
great poem totally puts words to what im feeling when my good friend Jesse died and finding out about it this morning
Right on, Sylvia! Right on. I lost my mother a little over a year-and-a-half ago, so, BOY, can I relate with this! I hate what this loss presents, hate would not even be a strong enough word, believe you me. My father has been dating almost ever since she's been gone, and I HATE her! I hate the fact she's even in my father's life, and I hate the fact even MORE that they may get married, he SAID, in 5 years, if they're still together..but I don't trust him. Anyhow, great poem.
