    Corona

    Chromosphere

    -bright red layer of gas below the corona -only visible during eclipse of the Sun just like the corona -temperature varies is about 15 000 degree celcius but can rises higher when chromosphere approaches corona

    -photosphere's surface appears a grainy surface caused by the convection of hot gases -the temperature of the photosphere is about 6 000 degree celcius but will rises when photosphere gets nearer to chromosphere
