What is SLE ??
Introduction
Systemic Lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease in which organ and cells undergo damage mediated by tissue binding autoantibody and immune complexes. Ninety percent of patients are woman of child bearing , people of both sexes, all ages and all ethnic groups are susceptible.
Prevalence
Prevalence of SLE in the United States is 15 50 per 100.000 . In Indonesia prevalence of SLE about 1 million in 230 million population.

Prognosis SLE depends on organs involved - Mild : arthritis and skin manifestation - Moderate : mild until moderate nephritis - Severe : - Severe nephritis - Trombositopeni Refracter - Refracter Hemolytic Anemic - Lung involvement - NPSLE ( serebritis, mielitis) - Abdominal vasculitis
