Teaching and Leadership Experience:


Ramona Elementary School, Hemet, CA. - Teacher 08/12 Present I hold a full-time teaching position as the schools Physical Education teacher. I hold the responsibility of teaching several different physical education periods that involve grade levels K-5. I am an active and involved staff member where I am currently apart of the Social Team Committee, a member of the schools Website Design Team, and provide after-school tutoring for students that need the extra help in their academic studies. In my classroom I create and implement lesson plans, assign and grade homework, handle disciplinary issues, analyze assessments, create professional personal relationships with the students, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment for the students. Hemet Unified School District Substitute Teacher In charge of a class where I implement the teachers lesson plans, assign student classwork and homework, in charge of maintaining classroom control, disciplining behavioral problems and distractions, while maintaining a positive and safe learning environment for the students. 01/12 06/12

Western Center Academy Basketball / Volleyball Coach I coached the girls basketball team and the boys volleyball team for the Western Center Academy in Hemet, California. I coached the students on both the fundamentals and advanced strategies of the sport while also teaching them the importance of self-confidence and teamwork. Camp Greylock Sports Camp Counselor I helped to ensure the physical development as well as personal growth and overall well-being for boys between the ages of 4 -16. I maintained control of a positive camp environment, disciplined and managed behavioral issues and created an overall enjoyable and memorable experience for the kids. I made sure that each participant met the goals established by the camp for camper development.
