1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. DRAINBRAKE FLUID
NOTICE:
Donotletbrakefluidremainonapaintedsurface. Washitoff immediately.
3. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER
SUB--ASSY
(a) Removetheunionboltandgasketfromthediscbrakecyl-
inder, then disconnect the flexible hose.
HINT:
Gasket has 2 types: 2--peace type and 1--peace type.
(b) Hold the cylinder slide pin and remove the 2 bolts.
4. REMOVE DISC BRAKE PADKIT FRONT (PADONLY)

(a) Remove the 2 brake pads with anti--squeal shims.
(b) Remove the anti--squeal shimNo. 1 and anti--squeal shimNo. 2 fromthe each pad.
5. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE PADSUPPORT PLATE

6. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE PADSUPPORT PLATE
[ 47717/ 4705]
7. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDERSLIDE PIN
[ 47715A/ 4705]
(a) Remove the cylinder slide pins fromthe disc brake cylinder mounting.
8. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE BUSHDUST BOOT
[ 47775/ 4705]
(a) Remove the 2bushdust boots fromthe disc brake cylin-
der mounting.
