Seawater PH Value

The diagram shows the percentage of total dissolved carbon dioxide in seawater that exists as carbon dioxide gas, carbonic acid, bicarbonate ions, and carbonate ions at different pH levels, with the average pH of seawater being 8. At pH 8, around 50% of carbon dioxide exists as bicarbonate ions, while very little exists as carbon dioxide gas or carbonate ions.
