In honor of Presidents Day on Monday, February 17th, we will begin a theme unit on two very special presidents: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln this week. We. will be doing activities learning about both of these very special presidents and what they meant to out country.

GO MATH
We will continue chapter 7 this week. Students will find the total values of collections of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. They will order coins in a collection by value and then find the total value. Students will represent money amounts less than a dollar using two different combinations of coins and show one dollar in a variety of ways.

*Read 20 minutes each night and complete one page in Math HW packet. Monday-Read weekly story. Wednesday-Study Vocabulary words/cards. Thursday-Study for Reading weekly test and complete Spelling Practice Test.
