    In honor of Presidents Day on Monday, February 17th, we will begin a theme unit on two very special presidents: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln this week. We. will be doing activities learning about both of these very special presidents and what they meant to out country.

    GO MATH

    We will continue chapter 7 this week. Students will find the total values of collections of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. They will order coins in a collection by value and then find the total value. Students will represent money amounts less than a dollar using two different combinations of coins and show one dollar in a variety of ways.

    Dear Parents, Class pictures are available to buy. They are size 8 X 10 and cost $10.00. I sent home an order form in last weeks Friday Folder. Let me know if you are interested in ordering one. Thank you to all parents who signed and return Progress Reports this week. Please do so if you have not already turned it in. Thanks! Thank you to all who helped with last Fridays Valentines Day party: Karisa Toland, Jennifer Guthrie, Heejeong Kim, Nikki Hansen, and Rachel Mezick. We had a great time! Many Thanks, Mrs. Danley :)
    WISH LIST: pop tabs, paper towel tubes, bags of rice, and small to medium bag of sand, and plastic spoons.

    *Read 20 minutes each night and complete one page in Math HW packet. Monday-Read weekly story. Wednesday-Study Vocabulary words/cards. Thursday-Study for Reading weekly test and complete Spelling Practice Test.
