    The DPO/AL4 transmission has been around for a few years now but we continue to have annoying pressure related problems when the unit is warm. Keeping the operating temperature down ensures the fluid remains within recommended limits. A key area with this transmission. JPAT now offer a up-rated cooler kit to combat heat related problems that can occur with this transmission. The kit contains a new heat exchanger which is in excess of 40mm deep and completely replaces the existing unit fitted to the transmission. Also supplied as part of this kit is the longer fixing bolt and washer required to fit the large capacity heat exchanger to the case.

    Along with the DPO / AL4 modified cooler kit (above) JPAT are now offering a modification kit that improves oil distribution coupled with increased oil capacity. The kit includes a new deep sump and sump rubber, a baffle plate that

    fixes to the valve body using existing bolts, a new level plug and washer and a longer oil level tube to ensure increased oil capacity is correct. This kit is a must for any DPO / AL4 Rebuild.
