    Honor the Lord Part 2

    March 23 - March 29, 2014

    Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.

    We honor God when we bring our tithe to the church.

    God, I worship You with all my heart. I want to know You by reading Your Word, listening to You, going to church, and being willing to forgive others. Thank You for good teachers and help me to choose good friends. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor Ron and his family with strength and grace. Help me to look for ways to bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

    For three years, it did not rain in Israel. There was a famine there wasnt much food because the people couldnt grow their gardens without rain. God told the prophet Elijah to go to Zarephath. There was a woman there who would feed him. Elijah saw the woman and told her to bring him some bread. Though she had very little left, she obeyed. Because of her faith and obedience, she never ran out of meal and oil during the rest of the famine. She and her son had plenty to eat. 1 Kings 17:8-16

    Proverbs 3:5 I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, I will acknowledge Him and He will direct my paths.
