Dear Parents, Progress Reports go home this Thursday. Please sign and return them to school on Tuesday (April 22nd). A copy of each students AR record for the third trimester is in their red folder. It lists the books that they have read, their comprehension scores and the points earned. All AR grades for the first half of the third trimester are already in the grade book. If you have any questions regarding your childs grade, please call or email me. Our math facts are getting more difficult as the year progresses. Your child should be practicing their math facts at home. The most recent facts we have learned are adding nine to a number and this has been difficult for many of them. Please help your child to practice all of their addition math facts each night. We are busy getting ready for Grandparents Day. It will be on April 25th. Please return the pink paper that went home last Wednesday, so we know how many people are coming. (We will be singing for them!) Finally, it seems that winter may be back for a short time this week. Please make sure that your child is dressed for the weather since we will be going out for recess. Many students have been getting sick, and we all want to stay well! Have a blessed Holy Week, Mrs. Patsavas
