Floodlight with integrated ballast for single-ended high pressure sodium or metal halide lamps. Maximum rating of 1650W and a range of circular beam optics are available, from very narrow to very wide, thus permitting optimised illumination designs with minimal light spill. Sports lighting and extensive areas such as stadiums, racecourses, open-air car parks, etc. Large scale, architectural lighting of buildings and monuments.
Technical specification

Silicone gasket between glass lens and reflector and between the latter and the lamp holder fitting. Tool-less access to the lamp, from the front of the floodlight. Aiming via folding sight, built into the ballast compartment. Mounting by way of heavy gauge steel trunnion with aiming degree indicator and locking plate system for securing the tilt angle. 230V integrated ballast of high power factor. (Optional remote ballast fitting). The control gear is accessible from the front of the floodlight, by removing the housings aluminium cover. Optical system Filtered optical system, comprising a circular aluminium reflector, with five different designs for distinct beam cut-offs, and a flat tempered glass lens, attached to the reflector by a hinged metallic rim with stainless steel latches, for tool-less access. Effective projected area: 0.3m2 for 584mm diameter refl ectors and 0.25m2 for 526mm diameter reflectors. Notes The floodlight can incorporate an outer housing for the reflector, manufactured in heavy-duty spun aluminium. HD option. The floodlight can be supplied with a longer trunnion for pendant mounting. Consult us. The floodlight may incorporate a fuse. FUS option.
