PRIEST: Let us join in offering our needs and the needs of the world in our prayers of petition to Almighty God. READER: That the Holy Spirit will inspire and strengthen the Cardinal electors as they choose a new Holy Father to lead us, we pray to the Lord That the people of the world may find common ground to unite in harmony and peace, we pray to the Lord That !ope "enedict #$%, who preached that God is lo&e and that we are sa&ed in hope, may 'e strengthened in hope and (now God)s lo&e for him now and for all eternity, we pray to the Lord.
