Reflection
Children attend specialist classes once to twice a week. Some of them attend it whenever the
teacher is absent or out. This learning task is about dealing with students with skills that have
to improved and it's go with classes needed. Also, the teacher try to manage the classroom
and teach those new things or things that students already know but increase the knowledge
they have. I asked one of the teachers of what the teacher needed as skills and she says that
knowing the students is the best. As like; knowing students week skills, behaves and their
disabilities. Teacher also trained to deal with students problems although using special
activities. There are some specific facilities that I see like; good sounded speakers, safe tools,
technology and apps. Teacher should be potion, wise and have a fast responding to things
happen. Children in those classes were happy since theyre learning by fun and by steps while
enjoying their day. Teacher used a pen to read stories when it's connecting to stories; it's a
technology that helps students read well while listening. Teachers in those classes was a little
bit different since they use models more like making things themselves first to show other
students how to do things. I enjoy the lesson a lot since I joined the students their activities
and help some teachers correct students papers.

Ask your MST which e.g. maths and/or science concepts the children are learning at the moment. Find out how
she helps them to understand these ideas. Ask about how language is part of this learning.
If you can, get a sample of any documentation of the science or maths curriculum you can add this to your TP
portfolio. It will give you an idea of the kind of concepts children at this level can understand and also the kind
of activities they are engaged in.

Taking math or science lessons have improved a lot especially when teachers started to use
new methods to integrated students to the lesson. Teachers make the lessons more like fun
and activities that's enjoyable and linking to their lives. Teachers use experiments,
competitions and tools on children's eyes can touch it in their studies like using beans to
count. In addition, teachers start to use some language to make students understand what
they need to understand like if the teacher wants to teach about heat she will link it to things
as temperature, cold, hot, increase, and decrease and temperature measurements.
