    Memo No.Ch- 2/DD-169 Dated : 15.06.2006.

    Sub : Execution of 11 kV Works on Contract Turnkey basis at
    Operation Circle level for APDRP/ NCR & other works.

    This is in continuation to this officie memo No. Ch-121/DD-1 dated
    8.5.2006.
    It has been noticed that whenever tenders are called at Sub-Division/
    Division level, the value of tender is very samll. In view of this, you are advised that
    wherever possible, you should combine works of 2-3 Sub-Divisions so that a package
    is formed and the value of the tender is substantial and within the competency of the
    officer who is inviting the tenders.
    Secondly, in cases where no. of tube wells is less than 25, the turnkey
    works should be along with the supply and erection of distribution transformers by the
    contractor.
    Thirdly, you are advised to save tender advertisment costs by clubbing
    various Sub-Division level works in single press tender.
    Fourthly, with regard to conversion of LT to HVDS system in villages,
    you are directed to call Sub-division level tenders village by village (Top 10 worst
    villages in each Sub-division). Tender documents are available on www.dhbvn.com.
    Fifthly, APDRP & NCR schemes are to be implemented by Operation
    Wing henceforth. Whatever is currently under implementation by Construction Wing
    may be continued by them. The rest of the works shall be done by Operation wings
    by calling Sub-Division level tenders.
