As a paraprofessional, it is my job to make sure that the students are in a safe
environment for learning and are making gains every day to accomplish their IEP goals.
Along with helping the students achieve their goals and objectives, I assist them with
toileting, feeding and cleaning

My first priority as a cashier is customer service. It is my job to be the friendly face of
the store while maintaining a professional work environment. I am held accountable for
all of the money in the cash drawer throughout my shift and keeping the registers stocked
with supplies needed for the day. Also, I am in charge of cleaning the front of the store
including the registers, as well as stocking shelves.

While working at the desk customer service is a key element to my job. I need to help
students and parents with any questions they may have regarding Central Michigan
University. I am also responsible for the cash drawer, answering phone calls and mail
sorting. Another key element to my job is to make sure that checking in students is done
properly because we want to make sure the Towers are as safe as possible.

As a Camps and Conferences Assistant it is my job to make sure all customers are taken
care of and are given the appropriate attention they need while they stay at CMU. I am
responsible for creating a welcoming environment to all and modeling how to keep Central a safe
place to be. While working it is also my job to answer phone calls, give directions, and keep track
of any money that is at the service desk.
