Science

Science is a way to answer questions and solve problems by investigating the world around us through observation and experimentation. There are two main types of science: physical/natural science, which deals with natural and inanimate objects using precise experiments and the scientific method; and social science, which studies humans and society using less precise methods since human behavior is complex and ever-changing. Social science emerged in the 19th century due to intellectual developments, global conflicts, and the need to understand how to promote human welfare through social as well as physical advances.
