PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Washington City Head Lifeguard and Swim Instructor 2006-2010 As a lifeguard, I responded to demanding aquatic emergency situations. I developed advanced water rescue skills and knowledge. I had an understanding of the principles of fitness training. I saved lives, while managing the other lifeguards. As a swim instructor, I was very patient. I encouraged and praised the children in the class when they did something right while gently helping them along when they are struggling with a certain concept. I taught children and adults to swim. Washington City Concession Stand Manager 2011 2013 The Stand Manager leads their stand by ensuring accurate beginning inventories, proper sanitation and food preparation, makes schedules, planning food for sporting events, and a correct ending inventory. Sunrise Residential Treatment Center as a Wellness Coach May 2014- Present Provide an environment in which residents can develop life skills, work on personal issues and problems, and create healthy relationships with peers and parents. I am a relational coach for two residents, which means I communicate with their parents and therapist to help them progress in their treatment. COMMUNTY SERVICE LDS Mission in Riverside California 2010-2011 I taught people about Jesus Christ for a year and a half, and did many community service projects. One of which is call Mormon Helping Hands. ACHIEVEMENTS Dedicated: Coached 2 basketball teams and 6 soccer teams Endurance: Ran cross country for Dixie State in 2008, Finished the St. George Marathon three times, Finished over 25 half marathons. Hiked Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim in the Grand Canyon (50 miles) along with other strenuous hikes. Adventurous: I have Canyoneered in Behunin Canyon, Keyhole Canyon, Mystery Canyon, Subway, Narrows, Yankee Doodle and other amazing canyons.
