Scanning on a CanoScan LiDE 100

Using Adobe Acrobat Pro to create a PDF file.


Ideal for scanning from a book, magazine, or text
document.

Step 1: Go to START ->


Adobe Acrobat Pro

Step 3: Change Device


to WIA-CanoScan LiDE
100

Step 2: Go to Create
-> PDF from Scanner
-> Custom Scan

Step 4: Uncheck
Make Searchable
(Run OCR) Box

Step 5: Select Black and White picture if


scanning text and make any necessary
adjustments.
Step 6: Press SCAN

Using Adobe Photoshop CS5 to create a JPEG file.


Ideal for scanning an image.

Step 1: Go to START ->


Adobe Photoshop CS5

Step 4: Click START

Step 2: Go to File -> Import


-> CanoScan LiDE 100

Step 5: Make sure that


CanoScan LiDE 100 is
selected and Click OK

Step 6: Select Color picture if scanning an


image and make any necessary adjustments.

Step 7: Press SCAN
