1. To use a fire extinguisher, pull the safety pin, aim the nozzle at the base of the fire, squeeze the lever, and sweep from side to side until the fire is out. 2. In case of an emergency at Saudi Aramco, call 110 and provide your name, ID number, location, type of incident, wind direction, and whether there are any injuries. 3. If you discover a fire or emergency, remain calm, stop equipment, report the emergency if possible, check the wind direction, and proceed to the emergency assembly area in an upwind direction. Follow instructions and do not leave until an all clear is given.

HOW TO USE FIRE EXITINGUISHER?

Pull out / Remove the Safety Pin.


Aim the hose at the base of the fire.
Squeeze/ Press the lever of F.E.
Sweep the nozzle side by side of the fire.

Note: Remain at the site of fire until 30 minutes to control the re-ignition of the Fire.

HOW TO REPORT EMERGENCY:


1. Dial 110 form inside Saudi Aramco (Dial the present emergency number of the
Plant)
SAY,
2. This is an Emergency , this is an emergency (Say "There is an emergency drill" if it
is drill only)
3. My name is HALEEM UR RASHID (Tell your name)
4. My ID number is 8920912 (Tell your Aramco ID number)
5. There is fire incident, Gas release, product spill, collapse etc. (Tell exactly what
happened)
6. The location is Substation 90 at Abqaiq (Tell the Exact Location of Incident)
7. The wind direction is form north to south (see the wind sock)
8. There is no injury and no casualty (Tell "there are some injuries and casualties", if
any)
9. Repeat the above information from 2 to 7, if required.
10.Remain at the line/scene until told by the security / control room operator to leave.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.


A. IF THERE IS ANY EMERGENCY (fire, gas release, product spill, collapse etc.,
FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS,
1. Dont Panic and stay calm.
2. Stop all the equipment/ignition sources (Engines, compressors, machines, cars etc)
3. If you are in the car, stop the engine, leave the key in car, close the doors but
dont lock it.
4. Report the emergency to control room if you can and it is possible.
5. Check the wind direction (see at the wind sock)
6. Follow the Cross-wind or Up-wind direction to go to emergency Assembly area.
7. Make head count and report any missing person to the security or Shift Supervisor.
8. Remain at the Assembly area until ALL CLEAR.
B. FOLLOW THE RULE OF
R A C E
in case of Fire incident.
1. RAISE / Press the nearest LARM Button
2. ATTEMPT to report the emergency by dialing 110, if you can
3. CONFINE/CLOSE the area of incident ( dont allow anyone to enter into incident
area)
4. ESTINGUISH the fire if possible otherwise, ESCAPE/ EVACUTE the scene/area of fire.
