Florida. Research focus was on the growing trend of bullying and violence towards LGBT youth throughout the
United States.

Florida Gulfcoast South AHEC
Developed a 12 hour curriculum to standardize the training of Community Health Workers (CHW) under the
direction of Edna Apostol, MPH. It includes instruction on nationally recognized CHW competencies and on
skills such as communication, instruction, health promotion, knowledge, service, coordination, capacity
building, advocacy, and organization.
