Costume Shop Supervisor and Intern Instructor (Clinton Area Showboat Theatre, 2015)
Responsible for two hour master-class for all interns, and coordinating tasks and supervising work performed
by smaller groups of interns participating in annual summer internship program offered by the showboat for the
rest of the summer. Interns are responsible for completing a set number of tech hours in the costume shop
throughout the summer, along with other mandatory assignments including wardrobe crew duties. Ages range
from 14-18.
Costume Shop: 10 months of total time in graduate school: Four to five hours per weekday (min): supervised,
organized and aided undergraduate practicum students with various stitching, craft, wardrobe and other
costume related tasks, coordinating costume shop to complete my personal costume designs, and completed
costume and craft construction tasks for other designers as necessary.
Props and Paint Shop: 6 months of total time spent in graduate school: Four to five hours per weekday (min):
Supervising, organizing and aiding undergraduate practicum students with various paint and/or prop
construction assignments, Coordinating and supervising practicum students assist painting my scene design
Teaching Assistant for high school student workshops in Props and Millinery for Super Saturday high
