Kirtan Meditation by Osho

Kirtan Meditation by Osho
Kirtan is exactly kirtan but with one innovation. When Osho blessed an
Indian Kirtan group to travel around India he suggested a one-hour session
in which the first and last third are kirtan of any kind - it can be Sikh,
Muslim, Vaishnava or it can be Osho Ki Jaia, it can be Hare Krishna or
Hassidic - but in the middle 20 minutes everybody simply falls down on their
front as in the whirling. Remain as though dead, then continue for 20
minutes more Kirtan, singing, moving, clapping, playing, chanting. Maybe the
first can be a little more cathartic, the second more celebratory.
This is a great thing, it is essential Osho. When I visit Hare Krishna
people and so on, I start to think they are missing something. When I visit
Buddhist monks, they seem to be missing the other thing. And both are
missing to celebrate nature, science and the body.
This thing should also be used in Osho discos.
