That's cool and I admire you for figuring things out on your own. The
downside is that people who don't have any background at all are building
terminal adapters all over the place because someone posted
instructions and are executing terminal commands they don't understand
and then coming here and posting about how to fix it.

The U6 i'm sure it will unlock fine because i've tested myself.
ATA Password and Locked drive will not lock you out of the terminal and
will not prevent you from downloading/uploading modules in those U6
drives.
