    Transcribingis an art in itself,andit's a
    skill you shouldcultivateif you want to
    continuallyaddto your musicalvocabulary.
    Most playersof improvisationalstylesjazz,blues,and rock-learned the

    off of records.WhenI transcribe,I transfer
    thetunefrom discto a reel-to-reel
    recorder.

    If you wereto comparethistranscription

    While sometranscriptionsarefar more accurate than others,in general,the art is a relatlveone.(For instance,thepitchofa particularbendmight fall betweentwo notes,and
