Food Stall Preferences of Students From La Salle University
ABSTRACT
This paper investigated the preferences of students among the food stalls of
La Salle University canteen. First, we aim to identify and point out what factors
affect our food preferences and thereby to explain the many reasons for differing
food preferences. The underlying reason might come from different sources, and
this paper focuses on trying to fully grasp this complexity. Second, we aim to give a
general overview over factors affecting food choice and the actual decision making
process used by customer. Through a qualitative research design, we can determine
the preferences of students in selecting food stall in La Salle University canteen
through the emerging themes from the date shared by the participants. Qualitative
results showed that most of the participants prefer at stall B over the other stalls at
the La Salle University canteen.
