The future perfect expresses an activity


that will be completed before another
time or event in the future.
(Notice in the examples: by the time
introduces a time clause; the simple
present is used in a time clause.)

Exercises
1. In this exercise you have to use will have done.
Example: Tom and Ann are going to the cinema. The film begins at
7.30 and it is already 7.20. And it will take them 20 minutes to get
there. When they get there, (the film / already / start) the film will
have already started.
Jim always goes to bed at 11 oclock. Tom is going to visit
