News
Welcome back ladies, I am excited to start the
next part of our year with me at the helms. We
are back from the Summer. I hope it was great
and relaxing, and enjoyed with family and
friends.
We had a great time in Orlando Florida for
Grand Counsel and as usual, our Dancers did a
fantastic job showing everyone that we in the
Sun City can dance.
There are a few things I want to try, such as a
new format for our newsletter. Hope you find
it fresh and informative. If you have any suggestions on what else you would like to see on the
newsletter please let me know. Remember this
newsletter is for you.
I am also working with our new Greeters Unit,
to work on our membership. We have such a
great group that we want more people to see
what we are all about. Make sure you read the
Membership Drive article on page 1.

News to Soar With From the Princess Table

Ladies: Welcome back from summer
fun and relaxation! Now, it is back to
work! After much consideration and
thought about how practical a calendar
is, I opted to give the publishing of the

convenient it is to have your birthday
and wedding anniversary dates, as well
as those of your family members, listed
on this calendar. The 2016 Calendar
form is attached. Please make checks
or money orders payable to:

Happiest when Im Singing The Chorus

Our Chorus Leader, takes the

field
Arazelia Perez, from our new Chorus
Unit performed the National Anthem
this summer at the Chihuahuas baseball game. On July 12, Arazelia Perez
was chosen to sing the National Anthem before the game. As usual she
did a wonderful job and we here at El

Minya Court #46 would like to

take this time to recognize her
and tell her congratulations on a job well
done. You make us proud.
If anyone is interested in joining the Chorus unit, please let Arazelia Perez know.
We will be announcing meeting dates at
our next stated meeting in September.

Who Me?????
ficer . You have all
our support as you
move your way up as
High Priestess. Your
going to be great.

Really? Clowning Around!

Greetings from the Clowns
Hello,

I hope that your summer went well. To our new members welcome to El Minya Court No. 46. I hope
that you consider joining the dancers unit and perhaps

become clown. Our meetings are held

the second Monday of the week. Clowns put a smile on the faces of children and we participate in
the Thanksgiving and Easter Parades. We also try to go to places that ask our clowns to be there.
One year we went to Ascarate Elementary and walked with the students and teachers in their end
of the year parade to celebrate their achievements.

STAY CALM
AND
CLOWN AROUND

So come and have clown fun

An Anniversary that Was Out of This World

The El Minya Anniversary Party was

held on July 25, 2015. It was out of
this world. The theme this year
was An Alien Invasion. As usual
we recognized our Past Highs and
our Life Members. It was a wonderful event., filled with great food,
Karaoke, and games for the little
earthlings as well.
To the members who were not
able to attend, Happy Anniversary

and we wish you all a great year. For

our Past Highs and other life members who were unable to attend, we
thank you for your service and know
that you are always in our heart and
mind. This of course goes to all our
members.
Hope to see everyone at our
meetings and other events
and let have a great 20152016 year.

Anniversary

Concession Time
The Del Norte Gun Show is a popular event at the El Maida shrine.
El Minya Court No. 46 has the concession for this show and future shows if all goes
well. This is a fund raiser for the court. We will need volunteers for Saturday and
Sunday. Friday afternoon we will need to have coffee available. Vendors get free
coffee.
You do need to have your food handlers to work the concessions. There are many
online food handler courses you can take. If you need more information you can
contact Lady Arlene Perez or Lady Barbara Muir.
Signup sheets will be available at our stated meeting September 15 but make plans
now to assist. Thank you in advance.

Lets Pack The House

Welcome Back Ladies,

Our next stated meeting is September 15, at 7pm, We would really like to pack the house. I would like to
invite everyone to attend. We are going to take court pictures before our meeting. I would like a large
picture of everyone in the court. So please come to the meeting so we can have a great family portrait.
I also thought this would be a great time to show our charity. If you can please bring a small toy to the
meeting. We will be donating it to the transportation unit of the El Maida Shrine for clinics.
